Great mid-range evening bag

Great mid-range evening bag
This is a really decent, mid-price-range evening bag. The black was a nice satin-y finish and I appreciated that the beads were only on the flap so it would be smooth against my formal wear and my underarm. The little beads are tiny, smooth pyramids/cones versus sequins that stick out and snag on things. They seem to be adhered really well. The magnetic closure is strong and has a satisfying click so you know it's in place. The size and shape of the bag are good too. I was able to fit my phone, keys, and an inhaler in the main section (if you don't need an inhaler, you could probably fit a mascara and lipstick). In the credit card slot, I was able to have 3 folded up bills and 6 credit cards with room for a little bit more. Most of us won't take that many cards out for an evening, but that was just for reviewing sizing. The chain looks nice and if a good length when worn over one arm or cross-body style. The chain does take up a bunch of space though, so once I added it, I could no longer fit my inhaler (so you might need to eliminate one makeup). I also think the chain could have had better clasps, because they aren't on a swivel or anything, so if you attach it with a bunch of twists in the chain, you're going to have a bunch of twists in it all night. And the clasps aren't easy to get on and off. The structure of the bag feels like cardboard, and I worried I was going to dent it while messing around with the clasps for the straps. So be aware that you need to be patient and gentle with it. I think for the ~$20 price point, this is a good value. It looks fabulous from afar and the magnetic closure is strong enough that nothing is going to fall out.
